There are endless activities to do while staying at Casa Grande, such as: Climb to the highest point of the country, Barú Volcano, located at 3476 meters above sea level. Visit La Amistad International Park and the Route of the Quetzal, which has a diversity of flora, fauna, and water resources that is simply spectacular. Visit the most spectacular orchid greenhouse in the country with more than 2,600 cultivated species. Make a journey through canopy, river rafting, or enjoy the local birds. The reception at Casa Grande will be happy to assist you and make arrangements for each of the activities above as well as make recommendations for other attractions.
Pay $184 for 2 nights in a Junior Suite ($448 Value) or pay $153 for 2 nights in a Garden Suite ($386 Value) for 2 adults and 2 children under 12. Includes continental breakfast for both days for 2 adults and 2 kids. River tubing and canopy for 2 children included.
A fifth person under 12 pays an extra $15 plus tax per night; older than 12 pays an extra $25 plus tax per night; extra child or adult has an adventure activity included (river tubing or canopy).
The Barú Volcano is the highest point of elevation in Panama. It has a height of approximately 3.475 meters and from its summit on a clear day you can see both the Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea. Volcán and Cerro Punta are located in the foothills west of the volcano, while Boquete is on the east side. A climb to the summit is an adventure not to be missed.
